A heavy-duty torque friction hinge is a special hinge that not only allows rotational movement but also simultaneously generates a defined frictional torque. This allows a component to be held in a specific position – without additional locking mechanisms.
The special feature of your torque hinge: The torque is infinitely adjustableThis is achieved by changing the spring tension via a clamping element (nut) on the shaft. This allows you to precisely adjust the holding force to the weight, lever arm, and application.

Problem: Settling behavior
